IB AIO Retreat

The IB AiO retreat 2011 will be held on 11 and 12 of April.

Mission IB AiO-retreat 

The aim of the IB AiO-retreat is to give AiO’s and, if interested, Postdocs participating in the Graduate School of Biomembranes of Utrecht University the opportunity to: 1) experience science and related topics in an informal atmosphere, and 2) learn to know each other better. The retreat is a yearly, two-day event organized by the IB AiO-committee. Each edition will have a central theme. In different sessions invited speakers will give seminars on topics related to the chosen theme. This theme has not to be purely scientific, but can also be focused on essential skills to be required during and/ or after finishing a PhD-thesis. The program will always include 2 scientific seminars, preferably given by promising young scientists or appealing established scientists.
