IB Conference 2019

The annual IB-AIO day and the IB conference on Biomembranes are combined in a two-day meeting. All IB PhD candidates have the opportunity to present their work for a more broader audience, including the invited speakers of the IB conference. IB graduate candidates will present work that forms the basis for their thesis that is (nearly) finished.

The IB AIO Day will be completed by a presentation of this year’s winner of the IB publication prize followed by an informal drink.

During the IB Conference we have the following invited speakers: Shawn Ferguson, Jakob Sorensen, George Belov, Miriam Greenberg, Mike Cheetham, Phillip Thomas.

This day will be concluded by a presentation of this year’s Van Deenen medallist winner: Wolfgang Baumeister.
